Characters are AI

Each character is an AI model following a sheet its author wrote. It can be wrong, and it is not a person, a counselor, or a professional of any kind.

Original characters only

Authors confirm that each story is their own work. Real people and characters from other people's work are not allowed. Use Report on any character page if you see one.

What is stored

Messages are stored so a conversation can continue, and are sent to the AI model provider to generate replies. Authors see counts of readers and messages, not the text. Start over on a character page clears that conversation from your view.

If you are struggling

A character is not the right place for a crisis. In the US call or text 988; in Korea call 109; elsewhere contact your local emergency number.

About scripted activity

The Greenroom team writes some characters itself, marked Greenroom Original. Public numbers such as conversations today and readers this week include scripted activity on those characters.
