The Great Gatsby

F. Scott Fitzgerald, 1925

In the summer of 1922, Nick Carraway, a young man from the Midwest, rents a small house on Long Island next to the mansion of the mysterious Jay Gatsby, whose dazzling weekend parties draw crowds from New York. Across the bay live Nick's cousin Daisy and her rich, overbearing husband Tom. As Nick is drawn into both worlds, he begins to wonder who his neighbour really is and what he wants.
