The Call of the Wild

Jack London, 1903

Buck is a big, proud dog living an easy life on a judge's estate in sunny California — until the Klondike gold rush makes strong dogs worth a fortune. Taken from his home and shipped north, he must survive bitter cold, harsh masters and the fierce rules of the sled-dog pack. As he learns to live in the frozen North, something old and wild begins to stir inside him.
