Student Yi Peers Over the Wall

Kim Si-seup, 1470 · Original title: 이생규장전

In the old capital of Songdo, eighteen-year-old Yi, a student on his way to the royal academy, glances over a garden wall and sees a young woman putting down her embroidery to recite a poem. He answers with poems of his own, tossed over the wall. The two find each other quickly, but strict parents and the gap between their families stand in the way.
